Monica Brogan

Founder/Head Instructor

Monica Brogan is Pennsylvania’s first dual black belt in both Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & Judo. She is the founder of the Dangerous Damsels Women’s Self Defense Program with affiliates in Harrisburg, York and Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Monica’s passion is sharing Jiu Jitsu with the world.  Having experienced the empowering benefits Brazilian Jiu Jitsu can offer including confidence, fitness and security, Monica has dedicated her life to spreading the art with as many people as possible.

With a particular focus on women’s self defense and kids bullyproofing, Monica has taught thousands of women and kids through her role as a head instructor at Harrisburg Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo and York Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.  In addition, Monica has conducted numerous seminars for local school districts, youth groups, women’s groups, businesses and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu schools.
